Updates From Your State Officers….
Tips for the State DECA Conference!
This year the conference promises to be the biggest ever! Over 350 New Hampshire DECA members are scheduled to attend, and there will be over 35 different competitive events, from Marketing Management to business administration to advertising to Fashion Merchandising…and that is just the tip of the iceberg! We will have a speaker from the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, a hypnotist brought back by popular demand, and of course the NEON theme dance on Thursday night! AND: the first annual DECA Marketing and Economics TRIVIA Challenge! Plus— for the fifth year, our favorite caricature artist will be back to draw you! So remember these tips: Bring your ID as you will need it for all competitive events and testing; bring a #2 pencil and non-programmable calculator to the written test. Wear your nametag and wrist band at all times- don’t leave the hotel…and have a great time! Network! Learn new things! Have fun! Make some new friends! See you there!
