Great Fall Leadership Conference!

Editor 1 | October 25, 2011

A new record of 600-plus DECA  members attended the Fall Leadership Conference at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, New Hampshire today.

A great welcome from the 2012 State Officer Team was followed by a rousing warm up segment by Todd from FOCUS Training, and things were well underway as Eddie Slowikowski had everyone under his spell in the keynote presentation.

Thanks to Plymouth State University and Bob Nadeau, as well as the crew from Men’s Wearhouse for two terrific workshops on presentation skills and dress for success and interview tips.

Special thanks to our DECA Advisors for bringing their students to the conference, and Extra Special thanks to Ashley Liadis who led the Southern NH University event planning team and made everything happen!

We are looking forward to the best DECA year ever with Officer Team 55 and the largest membership since New Hampshire DECA began over half a century ago!  P.S.  Don’t forget the DECA Week activities yet to come…and once again, Central won the pumpkin contest (fourth time in a row? Will nobody stop this juggernaut? )
