MDA Telethon at WMUR

Editor 1 | September 5, 2011

DECA members from New Hampshire schools- Winnacunnett, Pinkerton Academy, and Nashua South,  joined in with others to man the phone bank at the one-day telethon for Muscular Dystrophy in Manchester on September 4-5.

Overall, more than $500,000 was raised for MDA just from New Hampshire alone.

The students were fueled by a generous supply of munchkins, cookies, donuts, coffee, and lots of other snacks provided by sponsors and donors- so that was pretty good….

Krysta won the honor for best phone answering skills…with Sagar right behind…

Even without Jerry, this year’s MDA Telethon was one of the most successful ever on a national scale.

Next round: MDA Shamrocks in your school store– coming in March!
