DECA MEMBERS FROM NASHUA NORTH AND SOUTH HIGH SCHOOLS WERE RECOGNIZED TODAY FOR THEIR ACCOMPLISHMENTS AT STATE AND NATIONAL COMPETITION.

Mayor Lozeau and the Nashua Board of Aldermen applauded the DECA members from the two Nashua schools who were winners at the State Career Development Conference,  as well as finalists at the International Career Development Conference later in Orlando, Florida.  Congrats also to Mrs. Gingras,  Mrs. McQuesten, and Ms. Tremblay, their DECA  Advisors!

Congratulations to these fine students, and thanks for representing New Hampshire DECA so well!  For those moving on from high school this year, good luck in your future endeavors!   And, for those coming back next year, start planning now to make 2012 the best DECA year ever!!!  Marketing, Management, Leadership, and plenty of fun! Keep on Networking!!!!

New Hampshire DECA State Officer Team 55 addresses the Career Tech Education Directors at their monthly meeting in Peterborough, New Hampshire  last week…  speaking to group is Kevin…

They spoke on the goals and activities of New Hampshire DECA, and what they had personally gotten from DECA…and also presented materials to the directors.  They also had a drawing and one lucky director won a DECA laptop courier bag…yippee!

The team traded off on topics, ranging from benefits of DECA, to curriculum focus, to competitive events, to personal experiences, and the fun that DECA includes in membership…

Next up is the NHASP (New Hampshire Association of School Principals) Convention in Bretton Woods in June, where the team will have an exhibit and promote DECA to principals around the state.
