The first night of the New Hampshire DECA state marketing and business excellence  conference kicks off with the traditional written test, opening session, officer candidate speeches, and…

The Fabulous Hypnotic Excellence of Peter Mamos, Hypnotist Extraordinaire!

It was a show that had everybody howling with laughter, and the positive energy generated was intense!

Tomorrow the competitive marketing events take place, along with the banquet dinner, mini-awards session and the three ring circus of entertainment for night #2:

The DJ Dance, the Magic Max Magician Show, and Keith the Caricature Artist… Awards Breakfast will be coming up on Thursday morning, and we find out who will represent NH DECA in taking on Ontario  way down in Orlandooooooooo….in April……

COMPETITIVE EVENTS WILL TAKE PLACE IN:  Business Plans, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Hospitality Industry Management, Sports and Entertainment Marketing, Finance, Business Services Marketing, Retail Management and Marketing, plus much, much more!!!

Around the state, chapters are getting ready for the DECA State Marketing Competition coming up on February 15-17, and the students at West are no different.  With chapter community service activities like  focusing on “don’t text and drive,”  as well as business case and role play preparation, the crew is getting ready.

The state theme this year is “Soak Up the Sun” in honor of the National Conference taking place in Orlando this April… and we sure could use some sun at this time of year!

Other chapters are working on Quiz Bowl team practice, or drilling on the written marketing test they will face on Tuesday night…. good luck to all competitors at this year’s competition in Manchester, New Hampshire!

Study hard, and keep practicing!

Don’t forget that the conference this year includes a great hypnotist show, a DJ dance, a caricature artist, and a wicked good magician show in addition to all the other events and group sessions taking place….and some pretty good food too!
