The New Hampshire DECA State Officer team for 2010-2011 will attended their first official conference of their term, participating in the New Hampshire Career and Technical Student Organization Training.  It proved to be a great way for officers from all the CTSO clubs to get together and network, as well as learn organization and planning skills….and have fun too!

There were about 48 students  in attendance in beautiful and remote Gorham!

Students will also make plans for CTSO Day and making contacts with state legislators, as well as presentations to the Career Tech directors at monthly CTE meetings.

This years North-South Eastern Conference will be November 12-14, 2010 in Washington D.C.  It will also be open to the Western Region chapters so it should be huge! Plan ahead for this great gathering of workshops, networking, and sightseeing in D.C. !!!

Last year the conference in Buffalo featured a workshop presented by the New Hampshire State Officer Team…. the plans for this year have not been finalized yet, but may also include workshops presented by State Officer teams…

Workshops will include training for leadership, entrepreneurship, marketing , career  planning, and plenty more…
